Lost in Lust explores the fragile distortion, where love is mistaken for possession and intimacy slowly dissolves into control. The figure is suspended in a quiet descent, held within an emotional current she no longer recognises, drawn deeper into his manipulation.

The serpent encircling her is disguised as affection - its presence both intimate and suffocating. The surrounding darkness symbolises her state of unawareness. Within this submerged world, the luminous jellyfish offers a delicate hint of hope. Glowing with an charming softness, it represents clarity, self-awareness, and the first stirring of liberation - an invitation toward healing and reclamation of self.

At its core, the work reflects on the loss of identity within consuming attachment, and the quiet strength required to recognise when something once felt like love has become something destructive. It is ultimately a meditation on self-worth, awakening, and the courage to let go in order to rise.
